Sunflower and moonlight

Dear Moonlight

I am a sunflower who had too much sunlight,
I wish you can hear me under your dark cold blanket, with your moon-shining glow.

Here tonight I sing,
"Like a river flows surely to the sea,
Darling so it goes,  some things are meant to be.
So take my hand, and take my whole life too"

I lay under your dimming blanket, moonbath under your luminous heart.
With the moontan I got, my heart turns crimson just like my hair.

I no need to try to reach you up in the air,
I no need to try to look into your shimmering light,
I no need to try to hear your pale echo.

I lay under your moon light on summer's early dawns,
and become a shooting star that will never fall.
